【摘要】:WARNING—ThisInternationalStandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisInternationalStandardtoestablishappropriatehealthandsafetypracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThisInternationalStandardsetsoutthebasicmethodsforsamplingparticulatematerialthatismixedwithaliquid,usuallywater,toformaslurry.Inindustryandintheminingandmineralprocessingliterature,slurryisalsoreferredtoaspulp,butthistermisnotusedinthisInternationalStandard.Atveryhighratiosoffineparticulatesolidstoliquidswherematerialassumesasoftplasticform,themixtureiscorrectlytermedasapaste.SamplingofpastesisnotcoveredinthisInternationalStandard.TheproceduresdescribedinthisInternationalStandardapplytosamplingofparticulatematerialsthataretransportedinmovingstreamsasslurries,butnotpressurizedslurries.Thesestreamsmayfallfreelyorbeconfinedinpipes,launders,flumes,sluices,spiralsorsimilarchannels.Samplingofslurriesinstationarysituations,suchasasettledorevenawell-stirredslurryinaholdingvesselordam,isnotrecommendedandisnotcoveredinthisInternationalStandard.ThisInternationalStandarddescribesproceduresthataredesignedtoprovidesamplesrepresentativeoftheslurrysolidsandparticle-sizedistributionoftheslurryunderexamination.Afterdrainingtheslurrysampleoffluidandmeasuringthefluidvolume,dampsamplesofthecontainedparticulatematerialintheslurryareavailablefordrying(ifrequired)andmeasurementofoneormorecharacteristicsinanunbiasedmannerandwithaknowndegreeofprecision.Thecharacteristicsaremeasuredbychemicalanalysis,physicaltestingorboth.Thesamplingmethodsdescribedareapplicabletoslurriesthatrequireinspectiontoverifycompliancewithproductspecifications,determinationofthevalueofacharacteristicasabasisforsettlementbetweentradingpartnersorestimationofasetofaveragecharacteristicsandvariancesthatdescribesasystemorprocedure.Providedthatflowratesarenottoohigh,thereferencemethodagainstwhichothersamplingproceduresarecomparedisonewheretheentirestreamisdivertedintoavesselforaspecifiedtimeorvolumeinterval.Thismethodcorrespondstothestopped-beltmethoddescribedinISO12743.
