【摘要】:Thistestmethodenablesstaticthermalresponsecomparisonsbetweendirectthermalmediaandfacilitatesprocesscontrol.Comparisonscanbemadebetweenandwithinthermalmediaproductionlotsfromthesamemanufacturer.Comparisonscanbemadebetweenthermalmediaproductgradesfromdifferentmanufacturers.Thistestmethodisusefulinpredictingheatstabilityforend-useapplications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthestaticthermalresponseofdirectthermalpaperstodetermineuniformitywithinandbetweenlots.Thistestmethodcanalsobeusedtotestotherdirectthermalproductswithsubstratesotherthanpaper.1.2Theinstrumentdescribedinthistestmethodmaybeusedforspecificationacceptance,productdevelopmentorresearchapplications,orboth,butitsprimaryuseisformanufacturingcontrol.1.3Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
